This year's Christmas card is a culmination of the year's personal gnosis and meditations and conjectures from the Kabbalistic tradition of classifying and comprehending the nature of reality. Surrounding the card in the corners are the four Kerubim that guard the throne of G-d who correspond to the four elements of Tetragramaton and the four fixed astrological constellations which surround this solar system. Within this solar molecule, the Earth spins enwrapped in a cloudy spiral of air for an eternal existence only slightly phased by the present human condition. The human circumstance, with the Earth herself, is suspended in orbit as a consequence of the power and nature of this star's existence. Ancient man, free of pious scientific rationalism was more impressed by the eternal majesty of this star of consuming fire. This solar cell is the expression of the interaction of mass and energy (E=Mc^2). The event of reality takes place amid the three veils of negative existence, which overwhelmingly dominate the physical universe. The first veil, "Nothing", encompasses reality which is the positive expression of what is its negative and essential nature. Beyond the negative is the second veil encompassing the dimension of the negative which is "Boundless", even 4th dimensional encompassing what time and space are only the parts of. Beyond the second veil of the negative is the 3rd veil which defines the nature of negative existence, and that is "The Boundless Light". Boundless Light is the essential nature of the universe since darkness only exists as the ratio between lights. This solar cell is composed of nothing but light with the most insignificant traces of matter making up the only areas of darkness in existence around this light in a sea of stars. These different "waters" of darkness and reflected light, of course, attract the creative curiosity of our sun. On this Solar elliptical plane of existence, the Sun approaches Earth crowned with the visible planets of Kabballa and copulates with the steady pulsations of a uniquely large and phallic Moon. The cycles of women have obvious resemblance to the phases of reflected Lunar light. In this divine marriage, Earth gyrates with pleasure on her tilted axis. The movements of these eternal currents have always influenced creation as we know it. To illustrate this design, there is a DNA molecule on the card shaped like a twisted ladder. Zoroaster, the great Gnostic prophet proclaimed that the nature of G-d was spiral or helix in nature. Many great mystics have given similar descriptions of the attainment of G-d as a spiral energy or vision. It is likely that meditation and similar paths of mystical attainment lead to a realization of this essential pattern of existence that is the DNA code. The triune alchemical nature of the volatile is fixed in this center that is the triangle of the center. It is written "The Light is in G-d, the LVX hath been made into man. Whether Sun, or Moon, or Wandering Stars, all are in LVX, the LVX in the Light, the Light in the Center, the Center in the Circle, the Circle from the Nothingness (Negetive or Ain). What thou mayest be (i.e. what thou hast in thyself, the capability of being), that shalt thou be (or become). The center that is everywhere with a circumference that has no end. DNA is the code that causes the cells to make proteins and thus perpetuate life. As the DNA splits in half and rebuilds its reflection, it also forms an RNA molecule. Like a word that becomes flesh and dwells among us, the RNA communicates with ribosomes that then create amino acids that make up polypeptides essential for cellular growth. In response to this, Aquarius in the upper left corner of the card who is the water-bearer of the gods pours forth the Tree of Life which illustrates for the comprehension of reason the helix pattern of existence by the sephiroth being expressed in their elemental natures. The diagram shows the Mother/Father elements (Water/Fire) of Tetragramaton spiraling around the middle pillar sephiroth that are expressed as Air (the son). Below the tree is Malkuth or Earth expressed as encompassing Kether (spirit). Next to the sephiroth are Chinese expressions of the sephiroth as yin/yang arrangements. From the area on the tree known as Daath down, the arrangements form the 8 trigrams of the I Ching. This discovery was by Frater O.M. who deserves full credit for it. The I Ching trigrams combine into the 64 Hexagrams of the I Ching written over 3000 years ago. The genetic code of an RNA molecule which proceeds from the splitting DNA like "the word" is made up of Codons that express messages to ribosomes in 64 possible universal commands. (Let there be light) What the ancient sages comprehended in their introspective mystical quests has taken science till this century to realize. Beneath the symbol of the ruling spirit is the child of the elements of Tetregramaton ruled by spirit through the symbol of the pentagram of salvation. In the background lurks the constellation of the star Sirius. Like the star of the Nativity myth, Sirius has been a special point of interest for Magi and occultists. Tribes in Africa have held this star as a sacred source of knowledge (Gnosis) and they have described this star, identifying its white dwarf companion centuries before the ingenuity of 20th century astronomy. Even the great pyramid is said to have shafts leading to the tome that appear to be focused on this star. This of course is a mystery. However, mysteries in philosophy, and religion are introductions for the imagination to find expression. The extinct religion of Gnosticism was the expression of the human need to explore and experience the ineffable mystery with imagination. Something that stagnant, dogmatic, orthodox churches can't seem to tolerate. Humanity misses the point of their insignificance in the face of a galaxy so vast and incomprehensible that it might as well be called G-d for lack of a better term. In the light of the eternal flux of existence and its universal pattern, humanity seems more like a phenomenon that occurs as a consequence of Galactic evolution. Perhaps the mystery of mankind is the expression of the energy behind a cosmic change occurring. Such a change is possible with a species on the verge of manifesting fusion technology from its genetic code. It wouldn't even be out of mankind's blundering character to trigger a change on another planet conjectured to have the potential of starhood like Jupiter. In the end of a fleeting phenomenon like mankind, the eternal and perhaps pregnant Sun could give birth to a white dwarf star and nurture this child on the epidermis of the Orion arm of the Galaxy like Sirius.
